The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway

The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway was a famous UK narrow gauge railway that ran from May 1898 until September 1935. It was a single track, 1 ft 11 12 in (597 mm) narrow gauge railway and was slightly over 19 miles (31 km) long running through the rugged and picturesque area bordering Exmoor in North Devon, England. You can read more about this railway HERE.

Modellers of this attractive railway are being served with some excellent models by companies such as Peco, Heljan and Bachmann, but not every wagon of the line is being produced nor, if they are, then not all the umbers are issued.

Custom Model Decals are pleased to provide 4mm scale decals for all the L&BR wagons in their original grey livery, and coming soon, their Southern Region SR brown livery.

All the decals have been designed to be as accurate as we can to the dimensions found in the excellent L&BR reference “The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Measured & Drawn” by Stephen D. Phillips in conjunction with Michael J. Bishop

Below are images of the L&BR decals we produce on A6 sheets of blue-backed decal paper using our high definition 1440 dpi UV white+CMYK printer.
