Custom Model Decals have been experimenting with using our high-tech printer system to develop new features for our clients. We now can offer in-decal representations of rivets and nuts. Using multiple glass-clear lacquer layer we can raise the surface of the decal. The rivets are transparent and, being lens shaped, take the colour of their immediate underlying layer.

This system is very printer intensive and will therefore have to incur a premium if requested as part of our custom decal services.

The rivets below are 0.2mm high and diameter. We shall use 0.1mm high in future for a more prototypical look. We can print rivets in the decal down to 0.1mm diameter.
